Hello, here are some updates from The Light House |
Homeopathy ClinicAfter the disruptions of Covid, and interruptions last year, my Clinic is now back fully open. I can see people on weekday afternoons. Homeopathy can be used to help with many conditions, and it can be used alongside conventional medicine. Some people come because they have a medical condition, and want to use homeopathy to maximise the results of treatment. You can continue to see your own GP, and can have homeopathic treatment as well. Others come because they are just not feeling well, or are looking for help with fatigue, stress or grief. I am keen to use my skills to help everyone reach their best possible well being. Usually only a few appointments are required at the start, and after that people can come back later if they need a top up. LabyrinthA labyrinth is a pattern on the ground that is walked as for reflection and meditation. Walking the labyrinth helps us to address challenges, meditate, and find peace and serenity. I am a certified labyrinth facilitator with Veriditas. There is a 5 circuit classical labyrinth at The Light House. Please follow the Facebook page for times of facilitated walks. I have restored the St Luke’s Labyrinth at the corner of Manchester and Kilmore Streets (behind the White Chair earthquake installation). That is always open, and there are facilitated walks on Saturdays at 10am. The land is for sale at the end of March, so please make the most of it until then. Follow the Facebook page for more information |

Temple GardenA Garden has been created in front of the Temple. It is based on a medieval monastery garden, with paths in the pattern of a Templar cross. There are many roses – wandering, climbing and bush roses, fruiting trees, and many medicinal herbs. Wisterias are at each end, and there is a small lily and goldfish pond. The Temple Garden is designed to help us connect to our mystic and monastic sides, and as a connection to past traditions. The Garden is open whenever the Labyrinth is open – see the Facebook page for details |
