The Beacon - September 2024

Greetings from The Light House and my Homeopathy Clinic!

Homeopathy

I have been practising Homeopathy for nearly 40 years now, and am keen to extend the treatment to more people, and a wider range of people.

Cost of Living

I know things are hard for everyone, so have opened up new appointment slots, and can lower my fees.
They are now $65 for new clients, and $50 for follow up appointments. (This includes the Homeopathic Remedy.)
Flower Essences (if used) are $25 a bottle.

I have vouchers for free treatment, if referred by community groups or social services, or you can ask me directly about this. (This is up to 15% of appointments a week.)

Labyrinth

A labyrinth is a pattern marked on the ground or floor, that is walked as an aid to reflection and meditation.
I have a small Classical Labyrinth at the end of my drive. You can come in and walk it any time that the gate is open.
On most Saturdays at 10am I offer a facilitated walk, with an introductory talk beforehand.
If the weather is wet we can do a “finger labyrinth”, using your finger to trace the path on a sheet of paper, or we can zoom into a labyrinth walk from Veriditas in the States.

Please check on the Facebook page Rose Isbell Clinic
to check that the walk is on (as I occasionally have other seminars).

Films

I have videos of films that I can show to groups as well.

One is “Love Letters to Vincent”, a multimedia presentation of music and poetry, and the art of Vincent Can Gogh.

Another is a film on the twentieth century theologian and paleontologist Teilhard de Chardin.

I also have a large number of videos on a range of spiritual subjects – ask me about these.

Talks

I have a new illustrated talk about Homeopathy.

It covers what homeopathy is, how it is used for treatment, how to use the products for the stalls, and how to use First Aid remedies at home.

If you would like a group to come here for a talk, let me know, or I can give talks to community groups, if you have a screen that I can use.

Labyrinth Talk

I have an illustrated talk about labyrinths, the labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral in France, and labyrinths around the world.

If you would like a group to come here for the talk, let me know, and I am keen to give more talks to community groups as well.

Webpages

My webpage roseisbell.nz  is newly updated.

From there you can access the online shop.

You can also go to the page for the Christchurch Flower Essences, which I have created and developed.

Facebook

After having lost my Facebook pages, I’m sorry there is less information on my pages now.

Please like my new clinic page Rose Isbell Homeopathy.

My page for spiritual topics is Rose Magdalene.

Labyrinth Retreat Days

I can provide labyrinth retreat days for groups to come to The Light House to learn about the labyrinth.

These are a mix of information about labyrinths, and practical experience, with facilitated labyrinth walks.

These are by donation, for groups between 10 and 20 participants.

Canvas Labyrinth for Christchurch

- Give-a-Little Page

Christchurch needs a labyrinth, now that the memorial one has been demolished, and I want to purchase a portable canvas one (see attachm.

This could be taken to different locations, so that a wider range of people can have the opportunity to walk the labyrinth.

Donations can be made to the dedicated labyrinth fund 03 0826 0126195 001.

Garden

You are welcome to come and sit in the Temple Garden at The Light House, any time that the gate is open.

It is designed as a meditation garden, and is based on a medieval monastery garden, with roses, berries and medicinal herbs.
