This is to keep you up to date with events at The Light House.
Well, actually, it is still just a time of consolidation, and the services are running as usual.
Temple
This is the building at the back of my home, which I use as a base for the (non-medical) Homeopathy and Flower Essence service, the healing sessions and the meditation classes.
I will be having Open Days, where people can come in and sit quietly, or listen to music. Keep an eye on the Facebook page for when they are on, and I expect them to become a regular feature.

Homeopathy and Flower Essences
At The Light House I am going back to my roots, and practising homeopathy in the more detailed way that I have developed over the years. I have more time available, and can look in more depth at all the aspects of the case.
I use the Christchurch Flower Essences for the basis of the Flower Essence treatment.

Remote Remedies
If you live outside Christchurch, and are already having medical care, you can ask for a Remote Remedy.
You give the information about your health problems, and I will look into your case, and send you out a homeopathic remedy, and some Flower Essences if you wish.

Reiki
I am a Reiki Master, and have done the Reiki attunements, and recently I have revised my Reiki knowledge by doing further study.
I am pleased to offer Reiki treatments at The Light House.
Meditation
In meditation classes I have revised DaBen’s Awakening Your Light Body course with some former students, and we are now doing a graduate course Radiance: Self-Exciting. I have done the teachers courses through LuminEssence.
I can teach the Awakening Your Light Body course, using the International Teachers tapes, with just six sessions. I may also be able to lend you my sets of all the journeys in the course, as more of the stored cartons get unpacked. My meditation buddies are happy to help the teaching.

Light Essences
I have had breaks in Takaka, and on the Coromandel peninsula and Waiheke, and have made some new Environmental Essences.
I think these will come together as Light Essences, and they will be ready by the end of the year.
There will be three, based in Castle Hill, Takaka, and the Coromandel.
Christchurch Flower Essences
The Christchurch Flower Essences web page is all finished, and has come together really well.

I am doing lectures about the Christchurch Flower Essences for the Brasilian Flower Essences Congress, and these will be up on the YouTube channel (in English!)
They asked if I could go over and teach workshops, but that is not possible as this stage. (For one thing you need a current passport!) That is on the wish list.
Especially as I have joined the Christchurch Samba Band, and it would be wonderful to hear real samba music close up.
Study
I continue to study, and read all the relevant material I can find.
I have recently done an extra Diploma course in homeopathy, which presented some interesting concepts.
And also courses in Shamanic Healing and Symbology. There are more to follow.
Articles
I have been doing some more thinking about how homeopathy fits in with conventional medicine. While I honour and appreciate conventional medicine, I realise it can only treat the conditions that can be diagnosed as conditions, and there is a lot of illness that doesn’t fit into those categories. And then there are stress related illnesses, and the stresses related to being unwell. I think that homeopathy can help with the underlying illness, and all these other aspects as well.
I’ve also been thinking about how homeopathy fits in to the whole health care model. I have done some reports about this for a Tribunal, and totally agree with the guidelines that the Medical Council has put forward for doctors using Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
And it could also help with the problem of drug resistant organisms.
I have come to the conclusion that there is a big role for homeopathy in these scenarios, and have decided to put myself out there, to help as many people as possible.
Expect some articles to come through on these topics soon.

Open Days at The Light House
The Temple will be Open on most Wednesdays and Saturdays, between 9am and 12 noon.
You can come in and sit, or meditate, or listen to music, or browse uplifting books.
This is a quiet space, with limited conversation, so that we can relax and restore ourselves.
(There may also be the opportunity for drop in appointments for Homeopathy and Christchurch Flower Essences.)
